This Week's Question
Have your reading habits changed since you were a teen? Or if you are still a teen, what new genres are you in love with currently?
My Answer:
When I was high school, I was never really into YA books when I was a teen. I was trying to prove that I was more mature and well read than everyone else my age. I did like the Fearless series a lot though. I was mostly stealing my dad's cop/ mystery books. I was also obsessed with The Hobbit and Anne Rice's Vampire books.
Now I no longer read books because of the status I think they will give me but because I think I will enjoy them. Currently, I am reading a lot of books that deal with fairy tales as a way to research for my writing.
Hi there!
ReplyDeleteFound you through Follow Friday. I happen to be studying Creative Writing in graduate school, and I love to read, and am also new to blogging. I feel like I was meant to find your blog. ;)
I think it's cool that you're reading books having to do with fairy tales. I'm a folklore/mythology junkie myself.
Well, you have a new follower now. :D Looking forward to seeing more from you.
